Chris Bell

Chris Bell has served as a member of the Houston City Council and United States Congress and was the Democratic Nominee for Governor of Texas in 2006. He has been practicing law in Texas since 1992, and has represented hundreds of clients on a wide variety of matters. Due to his expertise in examining witnesses and speaking to juries, Mr. Bell is a highly rated and regarded trial lawyer and has secured substantial settlements and verdicts in personal injury and commercial litigation cases. Formerly of counsel with the nation’s premier lobbying firm,Patton Boggs, Mr. Bell also has over a decade of experience helping individuals and companies navigate the complex channels of government. 

Mr. Bell graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 with a degree in journalism.  While at UT, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and President of the Interfraternity Council. He was also a member of the prestigious Texas Cowboys service organization and founded the organization responsible for bringing student government back to the Austin campus. After graduating college, Mr. Bell became an award winning broadcast journalist and, in 1991 he was named the best radio reporter in Texas by the Associated Press.  After serving as a journalist and court reporter, Mr. Bell decided to fight for Texans in the courtroom, and in 1992, received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.

Mr. Bell is married to his wonderful wife, Alison, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Atlee and Connally. 

Ben Rose

Ben Rose served as the Democratic Nominee for Texas House District 134 in 2016, and ran on a platform that fought for public schools, the environment and the common good of all Texans. After receiving the most votes for a Democrat in the district's history, Ben is proud to join forces with Chris Bell at the Bell Rose law firm.

Mr. Rose received his Bachelors degree in history from Emory University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and served on the Emory College Council. He then attended the University of Houston as a Dean's Scholar and Graduate Fellow Scholar, receiving his J.D. and M.B.A. with academic honors. Mr. Rose also received an LL.M. specialization in Environmental Law from Tulane University.

Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Rose founded his own law firm, Harwood Rose PLLC, where he handled all aspects of his client's claims and secured numerous high-dollar settlements.  Mr. Rose's practice areas include personal injury, environmental litigation and government affairs. Ben is married to the love of his life, Laura, and is the proud father of a baby girl, Selma Baines.

Harrison Royalty graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science in 2013. While at Texas A&M, Harrison received the Dean’s List award and was an Editor for the Texas A&M Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy. Mr. Royalty obtained his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2017, which he attended on academic scholarship as a Dean’s Scholar. While in law school, Mr. Royalty was a Public Interest Fellow and won a prestigious clerkship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.

In his free time, Harrison enjoys creative writing, reading both fiction and non-fiction, and improv acting. Harrison and his wife, Kaitlin, live in Spring with their cat, Cloud.
